A 12’ Christmas Tree Should Be Heavily Decorated With Ornaments. 40 Ornaments per foot, or a total of 480 OrnamentsFirst, Divide Tree into 3 Triangle Faces - For a Wall Tree
or
Divide Tree into 4 Triangle Faces….Entire Tree
Second, Divide ornaments into 3 or 4 group according to the number of faces you are decorating.
First Design…Apply smaller ornaments to each Tree Face starting from the smaller size ornaments to the largest size….
From applying ornaments to each tree face in a Diamond Pattern, this will determine colors (shiny or matte), Shapes…Round, Finial, Novelty, and quantity per size and style of ornaments
70MM Size …Use as fillers…or in clusters to form larger ornaments.
Start from inside of tree working from top to bottom.
100MM Size
150MM Size
200MM Size
Remember to decorate into the center of your tree and not just on the flat face. Doing this will give extra depth and visual interest.
Last add style ornaments.Novelty as this creates the visual style and theme

Contemporary Profile – Larger Ornaments with fewer varieties well spaced on tree

Sprays made to serve as additional ornamentation…Decorated flower sprays with orchids, silks, and around 6 feet of ribbon…
With complimenting the above with Sprays, smaller ornaments were not needed as fillers.
As you can see, very difficult to determine amounts as every person decorating their tree has other ornamentation to create their own unique theme.
