Woven Yard Art

Woven Yard Art

There are a few types of yard art that don’t fall into the pattern of standard silhouettes or inflatables. The most common of these are styles of decorations that, one way or another, have a woven look to them.

Sisal decorations are slowly gaining in popularity. The material sisal is made primarily out of the fibers of a desert plant of the same name. Being tough, they are woven into a fabric with a unique feel. Often, the items made out of sisal have an artificial furry or fuzzy appearance, in order to enhance realism. These decorations usually are fully 3 dimensional and solid in appearance, colorful and lit from within.

The other type of woven decoration is much more appropriate to the term in its appearance. Resembling nothing so much as a 3 dimensional wire frame of an object or creature, these decorations have a wooden or metallic appearance. The most common in our collection are various types of deer or reindeer. Some are lit, and some are not, but they give a genuinely artistic and modern feel to any decorative display.
