Christmas in July: Christmas Lights!
Christmas lights have come a long way since I was a child. Back then, the choices were very limited. But, thanks to technology, the choices are endless, as are uses for Christmas lights. That’s right; they’re not just for Christmas anymore!
One very popular use for Christmas lights is to use them at weddings. Hang clear white mini lights up as a romantic backdrop. Lights, either in white or your wedding colors, can be used as head table accents (we have so many lights in stock, we’re bound to have some that match your wedding color palette!) Wrap lights in tulle and gather it around the cake table to create a subtle glow.
Lights work great outdoors, and not just at Christmas time! Use them on your deck or patio to create a festive ambiance. Globe lights look terrific wrapped around patio umbrellas, or strung around your desk. If you’re looking to create a party atmosphere, try novelty lights! Lights can also be wrapped around landscaping, such as trees or shrubs to creatively light up your backyard.
Still not satisfied? Christmas lights are great in dorm or rec rooms. Lights can also add a festive touch to your boat or car, especially if being featured in a parade. Keep in mind, Christmas isn’t the only holiday where you can get creative with using Christmas lights in your decor. Easter, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day…the possibilities are endless. The only thing you need is a little creativity to create a masterpiece!
